It is a folk tradition to paint and decorate red eggs on the occasion of Easter. The pictures show Easter eggs decorated with Hungarian tratitional folk motifs.
Hungarian folk costumes vary by region, but you’ve probably heard about either the Matyó or the Kalocsa embroidery. The folk clothing shown in the picture shows the costume of Kalocsa, hand embroidered by me.
